I can't believe I spent the better part of 3 days in Poland and never once had kielbasa or sauerkraut! It all started when we crossed the border and hadn't had a chance to get to the bank for cash. Mark was the only one of us with the foresight to make the exchange while still in Lithuania. The total bill for everyone in the group of 31 people was in the low $30 range. Mark saw a once in a lifetime opportunity to buy lunch for the entire group without having to mortgage his house! Thank you, Mark! I had mashed potatos and a couple of kinds of coleslaw and a Big Bambi ice cream bar!

This next group of pictures is of the interior of a very small (and very dark) place in old town Gdansk where we had lunch with Paul and Linda. I had the beef stroganoff, which was to die for (or is that from?). Very rich and tasty.

For the less adventurous there was KFC, TGI Friday's, McDonalds, and a couple of others I can't recall.

Dinner at the hotel was fine, though pretty conservative. I included a shot of the drink price list just for those I knew wouldn't believe a Pepsi cost the same as a glass of Vodka!
