Shopping in old town is easy. There are shops everywhere! Despite the obvious and rather vocal disdain for the Russian occupation of the country, Estonia had the largest supply of Russian items in the shops. Russian souvenirs virtually disappeared by the time we reached Riga. More representative of the typical merchandise of the region are the huge amounts of amber found everywhere. The volume of amber only increased as we proceeded southward.
