- Biggest Picture? Daytime panorama of Sydney
- Most entertaining bus driver? Lew in Auckland ("I have a little British in me - my ancestors used to eat them!")
- Best accomodations? The Lakes Resort, Cairns
- Shortest night? Christchurch - return to hotel 10pm, leave for airport at 3:30 am
- Most anticipated tour? Waitomo glow worm caves - no photography allowed... a very special experience none the less
- Right place at the right time? Sydney opera house tour while the Sydney Symphony was rehearsing the last movement of Beethoven's 9th.
- Best airplane ride? Rotorua to Queenstown
- Best ice cream? Hokey-Pokey, New Zealand
- Best ice cream parlor? Royal Copenhagen - 614 George St. Sydney
- Best Pizza? The Cow, Queenstown
- Best Restaurant? Il Gusto, Melbourne
- Biggest disappointment? Lack of time, particularly in Melbourne. I would have loved to see the 12 apostles.
- Would I go there again? Absolutely!
- Places I will see on my next trip? The outback (Ayer's Rock, etc), more New Zealand in general.
- When? Well, the world is a big place. I have a few 'must sees' left before I start on the repeats...
