Hole in the Ground
Hole in the ground is a feature that I suppose only an Oregonian could get excited about. The story is spectacular - an explosion of nuclear proportions on the edge of the desert blows a crater a mile across and 500 feet deep. Magma from deep within the earth welled up until it came into close contact with the local water table. The water flashed into steam and the rest, as they say, is history!
