Crack in the Ground

Apparently I don't express myself well. When I told my wife we were going to 'Crack in the Ground' she envisioned something very different. Maybe because a few weeks ago I took her to Hell's Canyon. Maybe it's because you don't see this sort of thing very often. Narrow enough you could jump over it in places, a mile long and up to 70 feet deep, you could really get yourself in trouble stumbling across the desert after an evening at a Christmas Valley pub.

Crack in the Ground is about 10 miles north of Christmas Valley out Crack in the Ground Road. On google maps the road dead-ends about halfway there. Persist. It's an adventure worth experiencing.
