Rockydog
The Next Chapter...
Change is the one constant of which we all can be sure. At
the age of 2 1/2 I discovered my people were becoming increasingly busy.
Lindsey and Michael left for college, and I was finding myself cooped up
on my run for longer and longer hours every day. I finally decided
it was time to make a move. I'm a young dog, and I still have dreams
of one day becoming a champion. So, I got on the phone, made a few
calls and arranged a new situation for myself. When I broke the news
to my people they were heart broken. They couldn't believe I would
just leave like that, but I knew it would be for the best. They need
better care than I was able to give them, being gone all the time and all...
I packed up my favorite ball and a few other odds and ends and
hit the road. I found a home with other Staffies just like me!
I said good-bye to my yard, pulled out one last dripper from the irrigation
line so my people wouldn't forget me, and left for Utah. I hope to
keep in contact with my people, though, and periodically update my website
with the details of my adult exploits. Until then, this is Rockydog
- signing off...
