The Matanuska
Built in the mid 60s, the Matanuska was one of the largest, fastest ships in the inside passage. It was a wonder to behold, nearly 100 feet longer than our vessel, the Prince George, it blew by us like we were standing still back in 1966. It is still active in the Alaska Marine Highway System today.
