Owyhee Reservoir
The road ends at a boat ramp on the Owyhee reservoir. The reservoir was created in 1932, is 52 miles long and provides irrigation for 118,000 acres of farm land in Oregon and Southwestern Idaho. The dam that formed the lake was the tallest in the world at 417 feet when constructed between 1928 and 1932.
