Desert Wildflowers present a particular challenge for me. First, I'm unfamiliar with most of them, requiring far deeper analysis - trips farther back into the key than I like to go most of the time, consuming far more time than is available on a casual vacation. Additionally, many of the flowers are what I would refer to as 'non descript' - they aren't even interesting to look at, much less begging to be identified. I'll pick away at identifying these as I stumble across them. If you have ideas, please share! |
