Visitors' Gallery inside Boulder Dam
Through this glistening tiled passageway 350 feet in length, and 528 feet below the roadway crest of Boulder Dam, hundreds of visitors are conducted daily to the power house by guides of the Bureau of Reclamation. The gallery is reached by express elevator operating at a speed of 500 feet per minute, with a capacity of 5000 lbs. or about 24 persons.
